Ahhh it's the first Monday of summer break and I could not be more excited! Today, I'm linking up with Farley at  Oh Boy Fourth Grade for her wonderful linky party! I love reading what everyone is up to!

Listening: It's so quiet...almost too quiet for this kindergarten teacher! All I can hear is the neighbor mowing in the background! I know, I know, I just need to enjoy it!  :)

Loving: Has anyone else felt like a Superhero ever since summer break started?! I mean is there anything we can't accomplish in a day?? So much time  :) Laundry, workout, cleaning, TPT'ing ain't got nothing on us!

Thinking: These are all the things running through my head....."hmmm maybe we should paint the living room again, definitely need a cube organizer in the office with the cute fabric baskets, we should go ahead and order the new floors now and the appliances too because we're going to need to put them in right after the floor, maybe a new desk?"...... I mean SERIOUSLY, I could go on and on.  Hubs is not going to think I'm amusing! ;)

Wanting: Rain, rain, go away! I need a pool day ASAP!

Needing: OH dear am I pasty....ick! I mean really don't we all look and feel better with a dash of color?!

Summer Bucket List: These are self explanatory, but it actually cut off my last two, so here they are!
5. Travel: Fortunately, I have a few trips planned this summer. We are heading to Hilton Head in a couple of weeks (so excited!), I'm visiting a dear friend in Norfolk, Virginia this summer, and we're heading to Traverse City, Michigan for our anniversary!

Have a fabulous Monday!

  1. Amber,
It sounds like your summer is off to a good start. I'm jealous, because we still have 2 weeks! Enjoy the productivity and have a great vacation.

  2. I always need a week before I finally feel like summer break is here. I think it's because I am so busy and my body has to wind down. It sounds like your body has winded down but your mind is still in the chaos mode. I hope you enjoy your summer! It sounds like you are off to a good start.
